About SmitsQuant

SmitsQuant is a new company focused on traders who are looking for a structured way of trading. My name is Sjanno Smit, and I am the founder of SmitsQuant. The strategies I offer are ones I developed myself, based on years of trading ES, Nasdaq futures, and stocks.

I started SmitsQuant because I had such a strong desire to become profitable as a day trader, and for a long time It did not work out for me. At some point, out of frustration, I stopped trading for about 5 months. I nearly gave up completely until I came across crypto. Trading crypto gave me longer periods of profitability, and it suited me better.  For me, Automation was the last piece of the puzzle, and I hope that by offering this service, beginner and semi-experienced traders can get on the path to profitability faster than I did.

Outside of trading, I spend a lot of time analyzing markets, building strategies, testing them, and analyzing the results. For me, short term trades work best, and most of my strategies are based on that idea. What I focus on is a combination of short term trades with long term results. I measure results month by month and share them on my website, because i believe that openness is very important.

Offering this service is, in that sense, just an extension of my journey, and automation has helped me trade in a structured and consistent way. My goal is to help others find the same consistency sooner, by offering fundamentally profitable strategies and a simplified way to automate them.​
